How should I use shaving soap?

The first thing to do is you need to warm up both the brush that you will be using for the shave, but also the areas of the face you will be shaving.

Initially wet a towel with boiling hot water, strain the excess water and place this around your beard area gently ensuring not to burn the skin. Leave this on for around 5 minutes to soften the hair follicles. Next, its time to warm up your shaving brush under warm water for a few minutes to soften the bristles. Next simply use the wet brush directly on the shaving soap in a shaving bowl, brushing in a circular motion to create a rich lather.
